Although they were removing a tree on property next door to my home, I was paying 1/3 of the bill. Only the homeowner was treated as a customer. Near the end of the job, their crane dropped a very large section of the tree into my yard, destroying a small tree and other vegetation (100% crane operator error). The man on the saw was very aware of the damage and responded positively when asked if he would report the incident to the crew leader. There was no attempt by the crew to access my yard to clean cuttings from the tree removal or to assess the damage to my plantings. I had to hire someone to haul the trash they dropped into my yard. I paid my portion of the bill without hesitation, expecting to hear from their supervisor before they pulled out. I understand that “stuff happens” and all they needed to do was acknowledge the damage. Two minutes of the supervisors time would have made this a positive review. Beware of Greater Bay Area Tree and Crane Service.

Got 2 quotes and they were the better of the 2, which I thought would happened since I’ve used them a couple times before. Service was scheduled for 9 am Friday and they actually showed up ahead of time. Did excellent work and very careful attention to the surrounding not to damage anything. Even trimmed a few extra branches by the house for no additional charge after removing the 4 trees that we contracted. Will continue to use this company. Jim Schimmoller is awesome to deal with. Ground all the stumps down and then cleaned up very well even blew off my driveway which had nothing to do with the trees in my yard. Super satisfied and I highly recommend this company!

From top to bottom they were incredible! They picked up the call on the first ring and were able to come out and give a quote the same day. Very fair price for the work that was needed. They were flexible in scheduling when to do the service and once they got here the crew was amazing! We had a massive sea grape and huge oaks. They were extremely thoughtful to make sure we were getting what we wanted throughout the job. They finished the job in a couple of hours and hauled everything away. Very professional operation which is somewhat hard to come by for tree trimming. For anyone looking for tree trimming these are the people to call in St. Pete!

They did a great job removing a massive pine tree that required a crane. It was done in very quick, and they cleaned up well. Hauled everything away as well. The only issue we experienced was they initially drove the crane onto our lawn, which tore it up and cracked the sidewalk. When I called to let them know, there was no apology for the damage. Instead, I was told the city should handle the sidewalk. Then given the excuse of it was "thin and washed out underneath," was why it cracked easily. While we know our lawn isn't perfect, it was still frustrating to see it torn up. Also, the truck partially drove over our sewer line. Fortunately, there was no damage. It would've been appreciated if they had at least consulted us beforehand. We would've gladly let them use the driveway from the start, where they eventually moved the crane anyway. We weren't even aware the sidewalk was cracked until we noticed it ourselves later that day. Someone could've easily gotten hurt. Instead of the company reporting it, we had to reach out to the city ourselves to start the repair process. In the end, great work on the tree, but we were disappointed with lack of accountability for the damage caused.

Work crew was courteous, considerate of the neighbors, accomplished exactly what we asked for, and left the property neat and clean. Truly a 5-star experience.

Third time to use GBA. 2018, 2022 and this past week. Fair pricing, communicates, fast without compromising quality. Clean up job was excellent. Already had lots of leaves from oak tree but they cleaned up everything. Crew never stopped and everyone was always busy, no one was just standing around. First 2 jobs were trimming. This week had an oak tree removed as well as trimming and I would have no hesitation in referring this company, and I don't like to refer to friends and family, one little mistake and you know who's fault it will be.

Nothing; I'd use them, but they were too busy helping clear downed trees on houses, streets,and power lines from hurricanes. That is forcing existing homeowners to wait or risk using less qualified people. Although I was disappointed, I appreciated them being upfront with me on what's happening to them and probably many others in the construction industry

Jim and Cory and the crew that came to do a big job in my yard from Hurricane Milton were amazing. They showed up at 8 am and never stopped all day. Finished the job. Thank you guys, I will recommend your company to anyone. Thanks again
